If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms or conditions, your baby will benefit from Craniosacral Therapy bodywork!
Oral Ties
Reflux
Colic
Torticollis
Birth Trauma
Difficulty Sleeping
Feeding Issues
Irritability & Crying
Digestive Issues
Asymmetrical Head Shape
How does Craniosacral Therapy benefit your baby?
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on technique that will support your baby’s development in the following ways:
Nervous System Regulation - helping baby shift out of a highly alert, tense or unsettled state and into a calmer state.
Feeding comfort - relieving tension throughout the jaw, neck, tongue, face or upper body to improve position tolerance and feeding mechanics.
Head & neck mobility - releases tension in the connective tissue that contributes to body asymmetry, head asymmetry, position preferences, or Torticollis.
Body awareness & movement - reducing areas of muscular tension to make it easier for baby to explore movement and strengthen their bodies.
Sleep & settling - calming the nervous system to help babies shift into a restful state and settle more easily for deeper sleep patterns.
Digestive comfort - improving digestion and reflux symptoms by easing the tension in the body and improving breath - suck - swallow, as well as constipation.
Comfort after birth - releasing physical and emotional tension patterns held within the body after difficult, prolonged, assisted, or cesarian birth.
Co-regulation & Connection - creating a soothing experience between baby and mother with gentle touch, breathing, positioning, and responsive interaction.
Meet Maura Kelly, Owner of The Sunrise Room - Licensed Physical Therapist & Craniosacral Therapist
Every baby’s journey is different. I am here to help you and your family navigate the changes that come with welcoming the newest member of the family.
I have 15 years of experience approaching infant symptoms, asymmetry, and movement challenges through a traditional physical therapy lens.
CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY changed the way I treat babies - allowing me to address the underlying tension and nervous system patterns that can be driving the symptoms we see on the surface.
I have worked with hundreds of children - families of all shapes and sizes. I believe that only goodness and healing will come from a compassionate, confident approach to our treatment sessions.
Please, seek out support for your infant as soon as you feel concerned, do not ’wait and see’.
You will be happy you did!

— Tammy Maura has always been so gentle and kind with our two children - 6 months and 2 years. My 6 month old had a tongue tie release and my 2 year old was having difficulty staying asleep. Maura meets the kids where they are at and has fun, calming, playful sessions. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us - both kids are relaxed and sleeping better!
